On Android, Microsoft is attempting to address the feature parity. A new update for Microsoft Teams has been issued, bringing the service up to version 1416/1.0.0.2018091302 on Google’s mobile platform. This release is focused on improving the call experience with some interesting call-related features. Among them is the ability to consult with a recipient before a call is transferred. Another new feature that will interest Microsoft Teams users is the ability to participate in Q&As during live events. Below is Microsoft’s full release notes:

Reaching Skype for Business
We already know one of the core goals of Microsoft Teams is for Skype for Business to fold into it. Microsoft says Skype for Business will eventually be removed as all its features integrate into Teams. That’s a slow and ongoing process, but when complete will make Teams better equipped to match Slack. Microsoft’s push for Skype for Business and Teams to become one service reached a new milestone last month. The company announced Microsoft Teams has reached feature parity with the online version of Skype for Business. This means Microsoft Teams can now effectively replace Skype for Business Online and users will not miss out on features. While that’s true, Microsoft is not shutting the Online service yet.
