This retailer listing shows the device will bring a significant bump in specs but will remain the entry-level Surface Laptop model. According to the leak, the Surface Laptop Go 2 will get a new 11th-gen Intel processor, specifically the i5 1135G7. Of course, the original Surface Laptop Go had a 10th-gen CPU when it launched in 2020. The new machine will be the first in this series of devices to get Windows 11 out of the box as the original had Windows 10. It seems Microsoft is also boosting the camera to offer HD performance. It seems Microsoft will announce the product soon as the listing says preorders will start on June 2, which is later this week. I am not expecting a huge reveal from Microsoft. Instead, it is likely a blog post and press release will introduce the Surface Laptop Go 2.
