The update pushes the build to v18362.295 and contains many bug fixes and security updates. Users unable to install the build are missing out on these improvements, while those experiencing reboots after application are in an even worse situation. “Screen goes black, PC shuts down. Currently, it seems only a small number of users are experiencing these issues. When it comes to can’t install error codes, there are a number of reasons, including outdated drivers, user modification of the update service, and more. Engineers usually recommend running the ‘sfc /scannow’ command or using the DISM utility. In time, it’s likely Microsoft will investigate and resolve the restart issue. Until then, users will have to weight up security updates and the risk of system instability.
